These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings and services provided by Cupid's Corner Photobooths ("Cupid's Corner", "we", "us" or "our").

By making a booking with Cupid's Corner, the person making the booking ("Client", "you" or "your") agrees to these Terms.

 

1. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once:

• The Client has accepted the quote or booking details;

• The required booking deposit has been paid; and

• Cupid's Corner has confirmed the booking.

 

A date is not held or guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.

Bookings are subject to the availability of Cupid's Corner and the equipment required for the selected package.

 

2. Booking Deposit and Payment

A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The remaining 70% balance is due 14 days before the event date.

If the balance is not received by the due date, Cupid's Corner may contact the Client to arrange payment. If payment remains outstanding, Cupid's Corner reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Bookings made within 14 days of the event may require full payment at the time of booking.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST only where expressly stated.

 

4. Cancellation by the Client

The Client may cancel their booking by providing written notice to Cupid's Corner.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a refund of payments made, including the booking deposit.

• Cancellations made 14–30 days before the event will forfeit the booking deposit.

• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable, including the booking deposit and any other payments already made.

 

Where Cupid's Corner is able to rebook the date, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial or full refund of amounts paid, less any reasonable costs already incurred.

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis where exceptional circumstances arise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights the Client may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

5. Rescheduling

Requests to change the event date must be made in writing as soon as possible.

Cupid's Corner will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

Where the new date is unavailable, the request may be treated as a cancellation.

A rescheduling fee may apply where additional costs are incurred.

6. Event Details

The Client must provide accurate event information, including:

• Event date

• Event start and finish time

• Venue name and address

• Venue contact details where applicable

• Access and setup information

• Any relevant parking or loading information

• Any special requirements relating to the venue or event

 

The Client is responsible for notifying Cupid's Corner promptly of any changes to these details.

Additional travel, parking, access or setup costs may apply if the information provided changes after the booking has been confirmed.

 

7. Setup and Venue Access

The Client is responsible for ensuring that Cupid's Corner has reasonable access to the venue for delivery, setup and pack-down.

The Client must ensure that:

• The venue permits the use of the photobooth;

• Suitable access is available for our equipment;

• There is adequate space for the selected photobooth package;

• A suitable power outlet is available where required;

• The setup area is safe, level and reasonably accessible;

• Cupid's Corner is able to safely set up and operate the equipment.

 

Where possible, the Client should provide Cupid's Corner with venue access and setup requirements before the event.

 

If Cupid's Corner is unable to set up or operate the photobooth due to venue restrictions, lack of access, unsafe conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control, refunds may not be available.

 

8. Outdoor Events

Outdoor setups must be discussed and approved by Cupid's Corner before the event.

The photobooth and associated equipment must be protected from:

• Rain

• Strong winds

• Direct exposure to extreme weather

• Excessive heat

• Water or moisture

• Uneven or unsafe ground

 

Cupid's Corner reserves the right to refuse or stop an outdoor setup where weather or environmental conditions may pose a risk to people or equipment.

Where an outdoor booking cannot proceed safely, Cupid's Corner will work with the Client to identify a suitable indoor or protected alternative where reasonably possible.

 

9. Event Timing and Overtime

The booked hire period begins and ends at the times specified in the Client's booking.

Cupid's Corner will aim to arrive with sufficient time to complete setup before the agreed start time.

 

If the event or photobooth service starts late due to circumstances caused by the Client, venue or event organiser, the booked hire period will generally not be extended.

 

Additional hire time may be available subject to equipment and staff availability.Overtime is charged at $150 per additional hour or part thereof, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cupid's Corner cannot guarantee that additional hours will be available.

 

10. Client and Guest Behaviour

The Client is responsible for ensuring that guests use the photobooth and equipment appropriately.

Guests must not:

• Deliberately damage or misuse equipment

• Climb on or sit on equipment unless specifically designed for this purpose

• Move equipment

• Spill food or drinks on equipment

• Use props or equipment in an unsafe manner

• Engage in behaviour that creates a risk to themselves, other guests or Cupid's Corner staff

 

Cupid's Corner reserves the right to stop or restrict use of the photobooth where behaviour becomes unsafe, abusive, threatening or damaging.

11. Damage to Equipment

The Client may be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing equipment or items damaged by the Client or their guests through misuse, negligence or intentional conduct.

This may include damage to:

• Cameras

• Screens

• Printers

• Lighting

• Booth structures

• Backdrops

• Props

• Cables

• Other Cupid's Corner equipment

 

Cupid's Corner will not hold the Client responsible for ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by Cupid's Corner.

Any claim for damage will be assessed reasonably based on the actual repair or replacement cost.

12. Props and Decorations

Props supplied as part of a package are provided for use during the event and remain the property of Cupid's Corner unless otherwise stated. Clients and guests are expected to use props responsibly.

Custom decorations, signage, backdrops or other items supplied by Cupid's Corner remain the property of Cupid's Corner unless purchased outright by the Client.

13. Photographs and Digital Galleries

Photographs taken through the photobooth will be made available in the format included in the Client's selected package.

Depending on the package, photographs may be:

• Printed during the event;

• Delivered digitally;

• Provided through an online gallery; or

• Provided through another agreed digital method.

 

Digital galleries may only be available for a limited period.

Clients are responsible for downloading and saving their digital photographs during the period in which the gallery is available.

 

Cupid's Corner cannot guarantee permanent storage of photographs after the applicable gallery or storage period has ended.

14. Photograph Quality and Printing

Cupid's Corner will make reasonable efforts to provide high-quality photographs and prints.

Minor variations in lighting, colour, exposure or print quality may occur due to venue lighting, guest movement, environmental conditions or technical limitations.

 

Refunds will not generally be provided for individual photographs that are affected by guest movement, blinking, positioning or other factors outside Cupid's Corner's control.

15. Use of Photographs for Marketing

Cupid's Corner may request permission to use photographs taken during an event for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and advertising.

 

Marketing consent is optional and is not required to book or use our services.

 

Where the Client has provided permission, Cupid's Corner may use selected photographs for promotional purposes.

 

The Client may withdraw their permission for future promotional use by contacting Cupid's Corner.

16. Equipment Failure

Cupid's Corner takes reasonable steps to ensure that equipment is operational before and during each event.

However, technical problems, equipment failure, software issues, power failure or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally occur.

 

Where an issue occurs, Cupid's Corner will make reasonable efforts to repair, replace or resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

 

If Cupid's Corner is unable to provide the service, or a substantial portion of the service, due to equipment failure or another issue within our reasonable control, the Client may be entitled to a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances and extent of the service affected.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights available to the Client under the Australian Consumer Law.

17. Circumstances Outside Our Control

Cupid's Corner will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services where this is caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control.

This may include:

• Severe weather

• Natural disasters

• Power outages

• Venue closure

• Government restrictions

• Transport disruptions

• Serious illness or emergency

• Acts of God

• Fire, flood or other emergencies

• Other circumstances that make providing the service unsafe or impractical

 

Where reasonably possible, Cupid's Corner will work with the Client to find an alternative arrangement.

18. Replacement Equipment or Staff

Cupid's Corner reserves the right to provide replacement equipment, staff or equivalent services where reasonably necessary.

 

Any replacement equipment or service will be of a reasonably comparable standard to the service originally booked.

19. Venue and Event Requirements

The Client is responsible for obtaining any permissions required by the venue or event organiser for the use of the photobooth.

The Client is also responsible for ensuring that the venue has any necessary:

• Power access

• Floor space

• Indoor or weather-protected area

• Parking or loading access

• Security requirements

• Insurance or event approvals

 

Cupid's Corner is not responsible for venue rules or restrictions that prevent or limit the use of our services.

20. Third-Party Services

Cupid's Corner may use third-party services to operate aspects of the business, including payment processing, website hosting, online galleries, digital delivery, booking systems and other technology.

The use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

21. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cupid's Corner will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision or inability to provide our services.

 

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.​

22. Privacy

Cupid's Corner collects and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, including information relating to bookings and photographs.

​

23. Changes to a Booking

Any significant changes to a confirmed booking, including changes to the event date, location, package or hire period, must be agreed to by Cupid's Corner in writing.

​

Additional fees may apply where changes result in additional costs.

​

24. Promotional Pricing and Discounts

Any promotional pricing, discounts or special offers are subject to the terms specified at the time of the offer.

Promotional offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.

25. Acceptance of These Terms

By paying a deposit or otherwise confirming a booking with Cupid's Corner Photobooths, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

​

The Client is responsible for ensuring that any relevant event organiser or venue contact is aware of requirements that may affect the provision of the photobooth service.
